The parting locks mould is a kind of plastic mould fittings, which consists of resin rubber
plug and alloy steel taper screw. It has certain high temperature resistance and wear resistance.
The product is usually used to control the opening and closing
between different templates. The nylon is buried about 3 m from the
moving template, and the inner surface of the fixed template hole
is machined to the range of Ra1.6-Ra,2, and the entrance of the
template surface is machined with the chamfering angle R. If C
chamfer is machined, its durability will be reduced.
Reference of hole size tolerance: H7 is hole when PL10 is used, and
H7 is hole +0.1mm when PL13, 16 and 20 are used as the benchmark.
If special PLBS is used, the above procedures of rounding angle R
and polishing can be omitted.

1. The nylon plug of the resin shutter should be embedded in the movable template for 3 mm.
2. The opening of the fixed template hole should be rounded R, and polished to prevent the nylon plug from being scratched. If the chamfer is made into an inclined plane, the surface of the nylon plug will be easily abraded, which will reduce the service life of the nylon plug.
3. Exhaust device should be added at the bottom of the fixed template hole.
4. The inner hole of the fixed template matched with the nylon rubber plug should be polished.
5. Never add oil to nylon plug, because adding oil will reduce friction.
6. The product itself has been trimmed by precision automatic lathe, and the roundness can reach 0.01mm or less, thus improving the contact surface of nylon plug.
7. There is no need to lock the screw too tightly when using.
8. Determination of the number of nylon plugs: 12*4 diameters are used for dies with a mass of less than 100kg, 16*4 diameters are used for dies with a mass of less than 500kg, 20*4 diameters are used for dies with a mass of less than 1000kg, and the number will be increased to more than 6 if it exceeds 1000kg.
